Taylor McLaughlin
OWNER & DESIGNER
I’m Taylor McLaughlin, the Founder and Principal Designer of Gracia Taylor Design, a full-service interior design studio dedicated to crafting refined, livable interiors. With a background in marketing and communications at global brands like Estée Lauder, Pfizer, and Budweiser, I spent years mastering the art of storytelling—an ability that now translates seamlessly into designing homes that are not only beautiful but deeply personal.
Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. As the daughter of an Interior Decorator, I grew up surrounded by fabric samples, wallpaper swatches, and paint decks—falling in love with the way color, texture, and contrast shape a space. Coming from a long line of designers, decorators, and architects, design is in my DNA. But beyond heritage, my passion has been shaped by hands-on experience—exploring art through photography, painting, and graphic design, and refining my perspective through travel, where I’ve gained a deep appreciation for how people live and how spaces influence daily life.
My passion for interiors truly took hold when my husband and I purchased our first home—an 1820s farmhouse in Wilton, CT. Over two years, I lovingly restored and modernized it, preserving its historic charm while creating a functional, beautiful retreat for our growing family. That experience deepened my love for design, architecture, and the art of making a house feel like home.
Today, I lead Gracia Taylor Design with a hands-on, collaborative approach, working alongside top-tier vendors, skilled artisans, and trusted tradespeople to bring thoughtfully curated spaces to life. We serve clients in Fairfield County and beyond, designing homes that are as polished as they are livable—where beauty meets the realities of family life.
At home, I live in Wilton with my husband Andy, our two daughters, Madeline and Georgina, and our two dogs, Nellie and Wyatt. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me hosting dinner parties with layered, colorful tablescapes, hunting for the perfect vintage finds, or exploring New England with my family.
